Your baby has really plumped up. She weighs about 6.8 pounds and she's over 19 1/2 inches long (like a leek). She has a firm grasp, which you'll soon be able to test when you hold her hand for the first time! Her organs have matured and are ready for life outside the womb. Wondering what color your baby's eyes will be? If she's born with brown eyes, they'll likely stay brown. If she's born with steel gray or dark blue eyes, they may stay gray or blue or turn green, hazel, or brown by the time she's 9 months old.
So I didn't end up seeing the midwife on Friday. I saw another Dr. She said its best to stick with the due date from the LMP- if I am sure about it. And I am. So gosh darn it, I am. March 4th, and yes, the baby will come when she wants. Too bad they left it as March 14th in the computer there.
She said there is no change in my cervix, and though the head is down, she isn't all the way down there. I figure since I haven't felt that sort of pressure just yet. She told me to cut back on sodium to help with the water retention. Well too bad for her, that I am not taking in a whole lot of sodium anyways. I even checked on chocolate packs to be sure of it :)
Hospital bag is packed, only thing left to do is maybe put together a bag for Owen. Its tough to do those things, because so much of it is used everyday.
I am ready to see her face- not ready for all the things that happen in the hospital....
