One of the ideas of me "preferring" a boy, was the idea that I could take the old clothes from Owen, dump them in the washer and throw them on the new baby. So having a baby girl required MUCH more work than that :)
I dug through all 5-6 boxes of Owen's old clothes in the hopes of finding a lot of "neutral" items. There are a LOT of blue items that I saved (onsies /sleepers/pajamas), but I am not much of a pink person, and I love blue myself. Besides, blue looks great on just about anyone. We will just get her some blue head accessories!
Anyways, I either want to share these leftover boys clothes that I have no use for now, or set up a table at a kids sale next year. So I (with the help of Jason) sorted all the sizes and condensed what we are (very sadly) parting with, into 3 boxes. Next step is to sort the "keeper's" into size piles, and wash the small items for our little missy!
I think baby girls look beautiful in blue! And those piles of clothes made me laugh... We've already got a pile of clothes that Ryan has outgrown, so I can see how it adds up!
