8weeks?

How your baby's growing:

New this week: Webbed fingers and toes are poking out from your baby's hands and feet, his eyelids practically cover his eyes, breathing tubes extend from his throat to the branches of his developing lungs, and his "tail" is just about gone. In his brain, nerve cells are branching out to connect with one another, forming primitive neural pathways. You may be daydreaming about your baby as one sex or the other, but the external genitals still haven't developed enough to reveal whether you're having a boy or a girl. Either way, your baby — about the size of a kidney bean — is constantly moving and shifting, though you still can't feel it.

So with all the crazy scary stuff from the beginning, this 8 weeks has felt like an eternity! Not even sure what they are using as a sue date at the dr's office anymore. I say about March 11. Pregnancy is sure different second time around, especially with a hyper 2 year old cute boy Owen running a muck! I now remember the days (prego with Owen ) when the smells of dinner made me feel nasty, and I would pretty much veg out the whole night, and then work the daycare all day the next day.
Jason has been awesome about cooking, or getting whatever that "day's craving" happens to be. Yesterday was steak and potatoes. Perhaps I am cooking a girl, due to the expensive cravings? All I know is it took me WEEKS to get energy to do the cleaning I would do on a weekly basis... boy did it need it, and man I can't wait to take a nap. In other news, the constant nausea is either under control or just better this week. We shall see how long this lasts :)
