August 26th was my Dr's appointment, and I really didn't expect anything super exciting, past hearing a heartbeat. Boy was I wrong!
Those crazy people busted out the in room ultrasound machine first thing. Not even an internal one this time too. So I had some serious guilt while I watched this little acrobat on the screen. So I am carrying the "wild" child of our family now. They had it on for a short few minutes and then said ok, as if to move on to the next "thrilling" parts of the OBGYN visit. I said "wait.... my husband is missing this, please can I have a picture." They complied, and after the Dr was done with the other "thrilling" parts, the nurse turned the ultrasound machine back on. I can't believe I have another living human growing inside me again. I also know how fragile this can be. But we must have a strong little one, with all that flipping, punching, and floating around! So we are SO close to the end of the first trimester, and now with pics (not the best), I couldn't contain myself anymore!! Next week I will release the exciting info to my coworkers too. I think we will try to tell Owen about it this weekend, but a few weekends ago I asked if he wanted a baby, he simply responded, no. Unfortunately for him, we will get one anyways!
Aw, a little gymnast! How completely adorable. :) So excited for your growing family. Owie is going to be a great big brother. Think of all the things he can teach his little brother/sister: how to line up blocks by colors... how to sing the ABCs... how fun!
