20 weeks

Your pregnancy: 20 weeks

How your baby's growing:
Your baby weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now. He's also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel — the length of a banana. (For the first 20 weeks, when a baby's legs are curled up against his torso and hard to measure, measurements are taken from the top of his head to his bottom — the "crown to rump" measurement. After 20 weeks, he's measured from head to toe.)

He's swallowing more these days, which is good practice for his digestive system. He's also producing meconium, a black, sticky by-product of digestion. This gooey substance will accumulate in his bowels, and you'll see it in his first soiled diaper (some babies pass meconium in the womb or during delivery).

we did it- half way. It is going pretty fast here, and there is SOO SOo much to do. Even though our little girl will be bunking with us a little while (we LOVED having Owen in our room in the apt.), I still want everything in place. One only knows if I have no time now to do it, there will be even less time to do it after she comes. Besides, who wants to play set up and clean up when you have a sweet new baby, and a handsome young toddler boy!

I never did post the prego pic Jas took about 4 weeks ago now-or at least I don't remember. Maybe one this week? Not much to say or complain about... just the same groin pains that I have had for months, my memory is gone, but I am sleeping good!
We have been having Owen practice his little sisters name, and she may end up with a nickname faster than we thought!
