the yard

There is always some sort of project for a homeowner. This time (though most other ones are NOT finished) it is the front yard for sure.
Apparently last year the slugs (which are DISGUSTING) Killed.devoured.destroyed.... our front lawn. Our tree lawn, still green. WTF?

So 2 weekends I spent digging up the brown "grass". I did it while the ground was wet, but still very back breaking work. Being very wet, it was impossible to gather up. So Jason put it on the front walkway, and used the rototiller. Now we just need the soil to spread and seed along with some straw, and then hopefully we will have a lawn again. I am also going to attempt to fix up the front garden area. I don't want to be the trash of the neighborhood anymore!
