So we are in high preparations for this little girl to join us in this insane world. I spent Saturday washing old Owen clothes and new Amelia clothes. Had some serious cleaning to do on the car seat and bases plastic parts. So that is how I spent Owen's nap time. Jason was scrubbing the walls of the basement, as I feel like the dehumidifier down there is not working properly in the summer. I think the dryer in the one part of the basement helps that side, and the furnace on the other part, but the finished side doesn't seem to have any help. Perhaps we need a new or additional humidifier? Anyways, he found a non bleach cleaner, which he said works better anyways. Then we will paint with Killz down there to hopefully help. (Killz did help in our bathroom).
Speaking of bathroom, still small things to go before its "finished". Due to lack of funds for many different reasons, the part inside the shower will have to wait a little while, but the rest of the bathroom is mostly complete. He just has 2 more walls to do with the baseboard moulding, now we have to figure out what happened to the towel holder plate (grrr, yet another thing that came up missing), and bolting down the potty.
It looks good, but I won't post comparison photos until all those little things are done :) I am that mean, or if he wanted to see it, he could do it himself ;P
Next step is to get the stinky kitty box out of baby's room. We got a covered box and have debated a LOT about where to stick it. I think its about time Tiger learns to go on the potty too, but I guess I should be happy that he always uses the little box! Hopefully he too will get used to not hanging out in that room, as we took his food out of there a little while ago, to help with that transition.
