Your baby's about 15.7 inches long now, and she weighs almost 3 pounds (like a head of cabbage). A pint and a half of amniotic fluid surrounds her, but that volume will decrease as she gets bigger and takes up more room in your uterus. Her eyesight continues to develop, though it's not very keen; even after she's born, she'll keep her eyes closed for a good part of the day. When she does open them, she'll respond to changes in light but will have 20/400 vision – which means she can only make out objects a few inches from her face. (Normal adult vision is 20/20.)
She surely is growing, by way of the kicking and rolling going on. Owen's new bed is coming this week, so we will be able to convert the "toddler" bed back to crib and stick that in her room. I thought about getting letters to paint and hang in her room, but I guess I shouldve done that while I was off of work. Which I decided a stay at home home is the job for me!!! Everything else is pretty good, bigger behind, bigger belly. Hoping the Dr isn;t going to freak about the holiday weight gain...
I am not sure when I started packing a hospital bag with Owen. Then I have to pack a bag for Owen too! (this may include a key to my house, lucky whomever decides to take Owen huh!) I was also wondering when we did the prego photo shoot last time. I was thinking it would be really cute to do again, but last time it was a friend courtesy thing, and he's not in town anymore. We don't really have funds for that, so maybe I can sign my sister up for something simple eh? I think time is really going to fly now....
