did you say, preschool?

I have been wanting Owen to do 2 years of preschool, ever since I can remember. (what a joke that is)

So I figured, have the baby and then sometime after that I could enroll him. I already had the idea of where to send him, cheaper and very convenient to life's current situations... always helps when you have friends with kids that are just a bit older than yours!

Then my friend Jess dropped the ball on me the other day, "you need to have him signed up by Feb 1st!"

Now what the heck!? They want these kids potty trained, and you expect people to want to pay enrollment fees 7 months in advance?!? SO she gets me the forms, I frantically try to fill out what I can at work, and now I have to remember to give her this stuff this am!

So now my issues are that 1. Not sure he will be potty trained by September, after all, our lives will have a DRASTIC change here fairly soon 2. I want him to do the 2 days over the 3 days-since he is new to this whole ordeal. Not only will he be sick a lot, it is tough to see how we will swing the money anyways, and I think 2 days now and the 3 or 5 next year (depending on their rules).

But he really needs that, I really need it, and my mom probably could use the extra time when she has a 2nd one. Though now she seems sad/reluctant about it....
That Owen of ours is smart, but the kid social stuff needs some work.

So there it is kids, just when I thought I was thinking ahead, I am falling behind already! Hopefully it works out, and if it doesn't, it just might be that more rough for him for fall 2012. I am already thinking about what bad kids he would meet, and what he would learn from them-oyy.
