Jason and I went out 2 times this weekend! His mom watched Owen Friday night and we went out to Lakewood for pizza with good friends and a new friend! MMM pizza.
Then on Saturday after long escapades of shopping-Crocker park to take the laptop to Apple store, then North Olmsted for Babies, Walmart, and Target, my parents watched Owen for a bit. My friend was celebrating his birthday, and another of my good friends was there as well. It wasn't what I had expected, since they had a live band playing. The music wasn't too horrible, but way too loud, as we were right by the speakers. Didn't know I should have brought my ear plugs!
Sunday my parents took us to breakfast buffet, which Owen loves- well me too. Owen even told us he had to potty there. My mom then came over and helped me go through and size the clothes I am keeping from Owen to use for Amelia, as well as some new things we have bought/recv'd as gifts. The men went to pick up Jason's laptop from its overnight repairs. Owen took a very late nap, and I was wiped out for most what was left of the day.
Monday we did the big shopping spree exchanging the bedding as described in my previous post and spent time with Jason's Grandma. This is one of my New Year's resolutions, to try to make more time for family, especially for Owen's greatgrandma. I still have both my Grandma's, but they are in other states. Grandparents are special, and Great ones *especially Grandma Char* deserve the time :)
So a fun, productive for visiting with special people, loving weekend had by all!
